ABSTRACT
The article focuses on the spectrum of skin types that Asian population have and treating the mosaic of their skin. According to dermatologist Wendy E. Roberts and assistant clinical professor of medicine at Loma Linda University Medical School, in California, some prominent skin conditions among Asians include disorders involving hyperpigmentation. Roberts stresses that dermatologists should be cautious in chosing treatments because of their propensity for post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation.
