ABSTRACT
The article reports on the casting for female rapper Missy Misdemeanor Elliott in a biopic film produced by Universal Pictures. Universal has acquierd a pitch from writer Dianne Houston based on Elliott's life. Robert De Niro and Jane Rosenthal are set to produce through their Gotham, New York-based Tribeca Films along with Elliott's manager Mona Scott.
