The article reports trends pertaining to sales and revenue by television stations in the United States. Fox's strategy has been to go upfront sales volume. Disney chief financial officer Tom Staggs emphasized that they are selling advertisements in the upfronts on a live-only basis referring to a system that does not take into account viewers who watch recorded shows.
