ABSTRACT
The article reports on the conviction of former Mayor Bill Campbell in Atlanta. The ex-mayor will serve 2 and a half years in prison after being found guilty of tax evasion. He is also fined and regulated to pay $63,000 for his back taxes. In addition, Campbell had been accused of bribery, racketing and corruption when he was still the local chief executive in the city, however, all these charges were dismissed.
