ABSTRACT
The article provides information on the transient left ventricular apical ballooning syndrome or Takotsubo cardiomyopathy. The article provides an overview of a case of 63-year-old woman with moderate hypokinesis of the apical segments suggestive of transient left ventricular apical ballooning syndrome. The condition is characterized by transient left apical and midventricular wall motion abnormalities.
