The article reports on intercostal lung cyst hernia in idiopathic pulmonary hemosiderosis in the case of a 31-year-old woman. Open lung biopsy showed patchy fibrosis, intra-alveolar and interstitial hemosiderin-laden macrophages. She was treated with corticosteroids, and it provided good results. After two years, subcutaneous intercostal lung cyst herniation were discovered which occurred sporadically through the biopsy incision.
