The article reports on the study on thrombotic microangiopathy associated with malignant hypertension. A 35-year-old woman with microangiopathic hemolytic anemia was diagnosed. The renal biopsy obtained revealed arterioles with pronounced narrowing of the lumen and fibrinoid necrosis and an extensive extravasation of red blood cells into the arteriolar wall.
