ABSTRACT
A definition of the medical term "kelotomy" is presented. Keloidosis refers to an operation for strangulated hernia through tissues of the constricting neck. The term originates from the Greek words "keles" which means tumor and "tome" which means incision. The definition is from the "Taber's Cyclopedic Medical Dictionary," published by F.A. Davis Co.
