ABSTRACT
The article reports on the decision of Glenn Davenport, president and CEO of Morrison Management Specialists, to retire after 33 years with the healthcare food service contractor. Davenport joined Morrison Restaurants in 1973, working in the healthcare division, which had about 50 accounts. He guided the company through a separation from Morrison Restaurants that made Morrison Healthcare a public company in 1996, and stayed on as CEO during Compass Group's acquisition of Morrison in 2001.
