The article reports that Emerson et Cie. has promoted Mark Emerson Smith (MES) from VP of marketing to president. Smith is the son of the founders of the company in 1984, Marvin Smith and Connie Smith, who will remain CEO of the company. MES will continue to manage sourcing relationships and will continue his role in product development.
