ABSTRACT
The article reports on the agreement in acquiring the infamous dirty road to South Canyon by the Forest Service agency and Elko County of Nevada. It has been found out in 1998 that the agency has closed the road due to the portion of the damaged road has harm the fish and threatened the bull trout in the river. After protesters prompted to reopen the road, the Forest Service decided to open again expecting that it would not harm the fish and affect the resources in the area and end-run of the governing laws on the national forest.
