ABSTRACT
The article relates the author's experience when he attended the 2006 National Hot Rod Association (NHRA) O'Reilly Spring Nationals at the Houston Raceway Park on March 31, 2006 in Houston, Texas. He visited the drivers who supported the Paralyzed Veterans of America (PVA) by sporting the organization's logo on their cars. He cited the activities he encountered during the event and the presentation of PVA plaques to Pro Stock driver Erica Enders and NHRA Top Fuel Dragster driver Morgan Lucas.
