ABSTRACT
The article reports on the sales growth for insoles in the U.S. footwear industry as of May 2006. Spenco Medical Corp. footcare business manager Blake Boulden contends that the key to driving sales is to provide comfort. Insoles in children's sizes are a growing category. Running-specific insoles are also selling well, due to the continued growth of technical running footwear.
