ABSTRACT
The article describes the Emmy stunt launched by CBS and its subsidiary CBS Paramount Network TV studio to promote procedural crime series "CSI." The networks hoped to sway a few Television Academy voters by re-enacting fake "CSI" scenes outside several high-traffic spots around Los Angeles, California. The show will enter its seventh season in fall 2006.
