ABSTRACT
The article reports that NBC News has appointed on-air personality Dan Abrams as the head of MSNBC, filling the position vacated by Rick Kaplan. Abrams will manage network affairs on a day-to-day basis. He will report to NBC News senior vice president Phil Griffin who will oversee the New Jersey-based network from the Peacock's headquarter at 30 Rock. Both Griffin and Abrams will have a similar vision of the network.
