ABSTRACT
The article reports that the U.S. Internal Revenue Service (IRS) will soon start an evaluation of the Circular 230 rules for tax advice and the market impact they have had since their enactment last June 2005. However, a spokesperson from the agency says that the IRS does not have a precise timeline for its reevaluation of Circular 230. Circular 230 is applicable to attorneys, accountants and other tax professionals who practice before the IRS.
