ABSTRACT
This article presents an update on executives in the U.S. grocery and retail trade industry. Robert B. Wegman, the chairman of Rochester, New York-based Wegmans Food Markets, Inc., died April 20, 2006 at the age of 87. Jerry Maahs, founder of food service equipment maker Alto-Shaam, Inc., died from cancer on April 18, 2006 at the age of 74.
