ABSTRACT
The article reports on the dropping of the rating of Methodist Hospital's 85 million of outstanding rated debt from A1 to A3 by Moody's Investors Service. The downgrade left a negative outlook on the credit due to concerns over a sharp decline in the system's financial results. The debt was sold in 1996 and 2001.
