ABSTRACT
The article focuses on criticism leveled against U.S. President George W. Bush by conservatives, such as in the books "Imposter," by Bruce Bartlett and "Conservatives Betrayed," by Richard Viguerie. Various criticism of Bush from the right are analyzed, such as immigration policy and spending. Though Bush has been surprisingly consistent with his views on these issues, the conservative movement turned against him only with falling poll numbers.
