ABSTRACT
The article reports that the municipal bond market in the U.S. was slightly weaker during the week which ended on July 1, 2006 despite bond-friendly data that spurred some minor gains in Treasuries. Bond traders lacked conviction in their opinions about market direction. Several market participants are calling the market slightly weaker while other saw evidence of minor firming on the long end.
