The article discusses the author's experiences in her trip to Martinique in 1997 and dance performances with the style "Landing/Place" in Eritrea in 1999. In her last night in Martinique, she spent two hours at the beach and began to reflect on the historical background of the region. She spent three weeks conducting dance lessons to people in Asmara, Eritrea. She attended a women's political meeting in the place that was participated by women from Somalia, Switzerland, and China.
