ABSTRACT
The article presents the interview with Pearsonwidrig Dancetheater artistic directors Sara Pearson and Patrik Widrig in New York City. Sara shared that with Patrik they were able to discover the value of the beach and the sand to their unique dance style. They describe one of their performances where the participants buried their heads in the sand. Sara explains how they prepare their presentation when they were invited by director Laura Faure for the Bates Dance Festival in Falmouth, Maine.
