ABSTRACT
The article reports that the Museum of the Moving Image in Astoria, New York will be hosting a two-week theatrical engagements of international films beginning in June 2006. "The Forsaken Land" will be the first film to be featured for 10 days starting June 23, 2006. The Independence Community Foundation was the museum's partner in developing the initiative. Other films to be exhibited at the museum is "Guernsey," which was directed by the Netherlands-based director Nanouk Leopold.
