ABSTRACT
The article discusses the factors influencing the economic conditions in the U.S. The authors discussed the slowing economy due to the weak jobs growth in May 2006, which resulted to the rising prices. According to the traders, the tax-exempt yields declined three or four basis points in the short end and also the long end for six basis points as the prices increased.
