ABSTRACT
The article provides tips before buying an asset tracking technology. Accordingly, there are many leading edge solutions to track and monitor one's assets which combine global positioning system, vehicle tracking and wireless networks. The author asserts that before buying tracking solutions several hints should be considered including the instant availability of the data when needed, the flexibility of the solution and the costs of ownership.
