Jabber adds IM, directory integration

The article introduces JabberNow 1.1 from instant messaging vendor Jabber Inc. The product is designed to help customers integrate their deployments of IM with consumer services from Google Inc. and America Online Inc. It includes an add-on for integrating JabberNow with user information stored in Active Directory. Moreover, it has also added more sophisticated archiving features to assist users meet compliance requirements. JabberNow is priced at 2,500 dollars for 25 users while its Active Directory add-on is 495 dollars and the Message Archiving Plug-in is 999 dollars.
