ABSTRACT
The article reports that ABC television network sales chief Mike Shaw will give a presentation to advertisers at Lincoln Center's Avery Fisher Hall in New York in May 2006. It cites the television programs that gave the network high ratings. It emphasizes that the leadership position of Shaw will also put him at the center of the debate over what standard should be used to measure audiences. Shaw asserted that he will only do business based on Nielsen Media Research's live-plus-seven-day ratings, which include viewing on digital video recorders.
