Grey, Snyder sign up with buyout brigade

This article reports on the acquisition of MarketData Solutions by Grey Direct of New York and Broadwell Marketing Group by Brann Worldwide, the direct marketing operation of Bethesda, Maryland-based Synder, in 1999. Grey direct will combine its existing Grey Database Strategies operation with MarketData Solutions to create a global database marketing company under the MarketData Solutions brand. At Synder Communications's Brann Worldwide, Broadwell Marketing Group will be renamed Brann Forbes, taking the name of the acquired agency's primary business unit.
