Colgate brings fresh scents to dishwashing fray

This article reports on the launch of Palmolive Spring Sensations, a liquid dishwashing detergent with bath-and -body-style fragrances from Colgate-Palmolive Co. in the U.S. in fall of 1999. Palmolive will also become the third brand in the arena of automatic dishwashing detergents in tablet form, with Palmolive Triple-Action Tabs. Both products will begin shipment to retailers in September 1999. Television and print advertisements and newspaper couponing for Spring Sensations will be launched in late October 1999 and early November 1999. Y&R Advertising of New York is the agency for the company's advertising campaign.
