ABSTRACT
The article reports on the success of Fujitsu to develop a bio-based polymer with improved impact resistance and a prototype mobile phone chassis using the polymer, designed to help alleviate environmental burden. The polymer is said to retain the heat resistance and mouldability of earlier bio-based polymers made by Fujitsu, but to give 50% greater impact resistance.
