ABSTRACT
The article discusses the Disability Discrimination Act enacted in Great Britain on December 5, 2005. The new rules will force public bodies to promote equality for disabled people in the country. It could help organizations meet their own strategic aims. The new rules should also reduce the risk of disability discrimination claims, because employers will be required to have policies and procedures to prevent discrimination.
