ABSTRACT
The article reports on the problems faced by Yash Raj Films' title "Fanaa" at the film's distribution in the state of Gujarat, India. Multiplexes in the state refuse to give a bigger share of box office receipts. The Gujarat Multiplex Owners Association also refused to show the film because of the activism of the film's star Aamir Khan. Gujarat's youth political party threatened to disrupt the showing of the film.
