ABSTRACT
The article reports news briefs related to textile retailing in the U.S. Williams-Sonoma Inc. has focused on expanding its fabric products as eight new stores of West Elm company open at the end of 2006. Stein Mart Inc. has revealed that home fabrics contributed for its strong sales in first quarter of 2006. Jo-Ann Stores Inc. has planned to introduce a new line of home decorative fabrics, trims, and educational materials after it obtained an exclusive licensing partnership with a well-known television personality.
