ABSTRACT
The article provides information on how to use Altiverb to achieve other sounds in recording. Pitching down an impulse response (IR) creates longer and deeper reverb. Any sound can be used as an impulse response, wherein Altiverb can be used as a powerful sound design tool. Another great tool to manipulate IR is the Reverse button of Altiverb. Clicking this button reverses the IR sample. This is useful in ramping into a sound.
