The article offers news briefs related to television broadcasting in the U.S. During the ATA Writers Guild Foundation seminar, David Milch stressed that writers could only gain satisfaction in developing stories that engage them. The backstage examination of the television business by writer Aaron Sorkin is marked with personal flourishes.
