The article reports on the ratings garnered by several television programs in the U.S. For the May 22-28, 2006 period, the 5th season finale of "American Idol," from Fox Television Entertainment Group has drawn 36.38 million viewers in the 18-49 demographics. The two-hour season finale of "24," also from Fox Television has garnered 13.75 million television viewers in the 18-49 demographics. CBS Broadcasting Inc.'s "Escaping Addiction" garnered an average of 5.20 million viewers in the 18-49 demographics.
