The article highlights the Forestry Stewardship Council (FSC) General Assembly held in Manaus, Brazil in December 2005. The FSC is considered an international organization that is in-charge of managing one of the largest timber and chain of custody certification programs in the world. The General Assembly was attended by hundreds of delegates coming from different parts of the world. It comprises of different chambers, namely, the economic chamber, the environmental chamber, and the social chamber. INSET: On reflection.
