ABSTRACT
The article introduces the virtual game called Eccky where users can flirt online with a pair and raise a virtual baby and developed by Media Republic. The concept was taken from the Japanese Tamagochi fashion. This game allows virtual parents to communicate with their Eccky through MSN Messenger and text messaging. In addition, the company sets an active community wherein both parents and Ecckies have profiles for social networking.
