ABSTRACT
The article presents a comparison of analysts Sally Bain of The Chambers and Libby Thomas of the marketing strategies of clothing companies Zara Corp. and Hennes & Mauritz AB in Europe. Bain approves the decision of Hennes & Mauritz AB to upgrade its stores and further improve its customer services. However, Zara Corp.'s edge over its rival is its ability to establish a loyal following. Thomas also observes the inconsistency of Hennes & Mauritz AB.
