ABSTRACT
The article reports that the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission has issued an interim enforcement policy that relaxes part of its cigarette test requirements for mattresses in response to the concerns questioned by the mattress industry. According to Dick Doyle, president of the International Sleep Product Association, the move of the commission is a good step in reducing the cost imposed on mattress producers.
