The article reports on the competition between two television programs "Desperate Housewives," and "The Sopranos." This program from ABC drama "Desperate Housewives," wrapped the season with its best ratings in three months, compared with "The Sopranos" from HBO. The programs from ABC made it 17 straight weeks as the young-adult leader closing out the season, with two-hour season-enders.
