ABSTRACT
The article reports that Deutsche Bahn (DB) of Germany has signed an agreement with Russian rail company RZD to set up a joint logistics subsidiary. It is intended to cover the entire logistics chain for rail freight transport, linking Russia with the global logistics network of DB. DB subsidiary Schenker has been active in Russia for years, offering road transport, air and sea freight as well as logistics services.
