The article presents news items related to book publishing. Fox Television Studios in Los Angeles will be the entertainment studio for HarperCollins Publishers Ltd. Fox will develop original content on the basis of its existing library, as well as new HarperCollins titles, particularly in the mystery and romance categories. The Quill Awards, organized by NBC-TV and Reed Business Information, will return for its second year and would be presented on October 10, 2006, during a ceremony at the American Museum of Natural History in New York City. The purpose behind the creation of these awards were to support the Quills Literacy Foundation and to promote reading by injecting some glamour and a television audience into the world of book publishing.
