ABSTRACT
The article reports on the rise in net inflows into municipal bond mutual funds during the last week of May 2006 in the U.S. AMG Data Services reported that net inflows into weekly reporting municipal bond mutual funds rose to $237.92 million during the week ended May 24, 2006. The gain followed a net inflow of $23.74 million the previous week into the category. Assets in all municipal bond funds currently total $347.1 billion, according to the Arcata, California-based fund tracker. Net inflows into taxable bond funds that report weekly fell to $229 million from $515 million a week before.
