ABSTRACT
The article reports that the Texas Transportation Commission will sell $750 million of revenue bonds in a negotiated deal being priced by Bear, Stearns Cos Inc. It will serve as a good opportunity for investors. These bonds have been rated Aa1 by Moody's Investors Service Inc., AA by Standard & Poor's Ratings Services, and AA-plus by Fitch Ratings Inc. The Texas deal will be followed by a Pennsylvania Higher Educational Facilities Authority revenue bond offering for Temple University. The offering has been rated Al by Moody's Investors Service and A-plus by Standard & Poor's Ratings Services.
