ABSTRACT
The article presents the author's views on executive ability. He says that if a company's objective is to make profits and to create shareholder value, then complete loyalty to an under-performing manager is a violation of the company's values. He says that managers can easily make wrong decisions if they aren't guided by a clear organizational mission. He says that leaders must be guided by their own moral compass. He says that organizations get weaken from those decisions of their leaders which are inconsistent with organizational values.
