ABSTRACT
The article focuses on the improvements in the economy of Japan in 2005. Prime Minister Junichiro Koixumi was successful in reorganizing the Liberal Democratic Party and both business investments and profits increased. Labor productivity in the country have to increase in order to accelerate economic growth. The country's real gross domestic product grew by an estimated 0.75% per year.
