ABSTRACT
The article focuses on the planned spinoff of the Cendant hotel, timeshare and vacation-rental group of companies to become the Wyndham Worldwide Corp. Cendant Corp. has filed the registration statement with the United States Securities and Exchange Commission on May 11, 2006, and is awaiting the approval of its application. Stephen Holmes vice chairman of Cendant Corp. is one of the executives who offered their perspectives on the status and future of the hospitality assets of the company following the deal.
