ABSTRACT
The article discusses the Federated Department Stores' massive relaunch of its acquired May Department Stores units. The company plans to integrated them into the Federated merchandise, presentation and systems mix under the Macy's banner. This scheme will be introduced in September 2006. Chairman, president and chief executive officer Terry Lundgren also shared his insights on the company's scheduled fall 2007 launch of the Martha Stewart Home Collection.
