ABSTRACT
Information about the topics discussed during a conference sponsored by the Coordinating Council for Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention in January 2006 in Washington is presented. The conference featured U.S. Attorney General Alberto Gonzales and First Lady Laura Bush. Bush stresses the role of community colleges in helping young people who are transitioning out of gangs and prison and back into society.
